the 250th anniversary of Mozart’s birthday and the 100th
anniversary of Shostakovich’s birth with Roberto Díaz,
principal violist of the Philadelphia Orchestra, cellist
Andrés Díaz, pianist Valentina Lisista, and
internationally renowned solo violinist James Ehnes.
Tuesday’s performance includes a Mozart Duo for Violin and
Viola; the Shostakovich Piano Trio, Op. 67; and
Brahms Piano Quartet No. 1 in G minor, Op. 25.
Wednesday’s concert includes the Mozart Piano Concerto in A,
K. 414; Brahms Viola Sonata in E-flat, Op. 120 No. 2;
and Shostakovich Piano Quintet in G minor, Op.57.
